We changed our plans thanks to COVID and eloped! What I love about this dress is that it was ordered with a nude illusion neckline with an ivory underlay skirt. Most other Marnies and their sample dresses are ordered with a mocha underlay skirt, which to me, felt less bridal. And the Marnies ordered with an ivory skirt, made the illusion neckline in ivory and not nude. The only alterations that were made was to add bustles for the chapel train; so you don’t trip while you’re dancing. Now you don’t have to do it! This dress is so light and comfortable. It’s a soft A-line gown featuring a plunging V-neck, beautifully sculpted with lace motifs on illusion and a dreamy soft tulle skirt with pearl buttons with a double-faced satin ribbon.
