Willowby Lainie dress, size 2, with "Syrah"
With layers of pleated tulle and floral appliques, this dress is the perfect combination of romance, with just the right amount of skin showing through sheer tulle for some sexy edginess. I felt beautiful in the dress but like there was still a sense of surprise with the details, which were delicate and soft. The florals are ever-so-subtly champagne/slightly gold colored that helps the dress glow and would work well with different skin tones. The color with the illusion neckline/bodice made the dress that much more special. These details all make the dress unique and it is perfect so many different venues and settings.
This dress is completely new, never worn, with no alterations. The dress fits great, and the V neck hits right where it shows some cleavage but not so much that I would be uncomfortable wearing this in front of modest family members. The width of the sleeves are wide enough that this would fit well on different body types. When I first tried on the dress, I was so surprised that it was so light, airy, and comfortable, and the tulle was not scratchy at all. There is nothing wrong with the dress; I just decided to go in a different direction.
