I found the sizing for this dress to run small. I am usually a 2-4 and fit well in the sample size 6. I purchased the 8 to have additional room in the bust for alterations. The measurements for the dress are as follows: Bust - 37", Waist - 29", Hips - 39.5". I did have the dress consulted by a seamstress and she said it would be possible to hem, shorten (or let out) the straps, re-shape the bust, and take in the sides. The shape and lace detailing are beautiful and work well on almost any body shape. The lining is comfortable and not see through either.
