Wedding gowns are made to fit brides about 5'9 to 6'0 wearing a slight heel, so most brides shorter than that, not wearing a tall heel will need to have their gown hemmed. Sometimes if you are very fortunate and just the right height, you can wait to get your shoes, get just the right heel height, and not have to have your dress hemmed.
